Text from SKOR, foundation Art and Public Space:

Land, art in the Zeeland Wilhelminapolder presents an exhibition in art station Hongersdijk focussing on man in relation to the surrounding landscape. The occasion for the exhibition is the 200th anniversary of the Royal Wilhelmina Polder Society (De KMWP).

Works of art by Maartje Korstanje, Kultivator, Dirk Zoete, Eva Fiore Kovakovsky and Tue Greenfort are on show from 25 April in the Hongersdijk farmstead. These five artists depict the social, economic, political and cultural dimensions of the landscape.

Four plans by Guillaume Bijl, Michael Beutler, Meg Webster and Jeppe Hein for a permanent land art project for the Wilhelmina polder are also being presented. All four have been invited to make a proposal linked to the cultural, historical and landscape qualities of the polder.

The winning design will be announced on 25 April.
