"Architecture is not the sum of walls, floors and ceilings," says artist and architect Daan Roosegaarde. "What if a space could form according to the space we need for our activities?" His Liquid Space 6.0 is an interactive space which physically becomes bigger, smaller and brighter in relation to human behavior. This interactive fusion of mechanisms, embedded electronics, sound and LEDs creates a real-time dialogue with its visitors.
Liquid Space 6.0 has its premier show in Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media (YCAM), Japan and evolves its behavior towards the visitors; creating an embryonic co-existence.
In February Liquid Space will start a European tour along Museumnacht Rotterdam, STRP festival and Oerol.
